You can use the back side of your card ( if you want to keep the front ) or the entire card to plant.

Ensure you wet the paper and rip into smaller pieces.
Then lay pieces on-top of a layer of soil.

Add about ⅛ inch of soil just enough to cover the paper.
Water to keep moist and in sun until sprouts pop up. 

You can then plant indoors or out into more soil ( pot or ground ).
